For Rising, a platform of the Roskilde Festival 2026, our team designed a custom typeface and developed a striking artistic vision. We crafted a cohesive communication strategy that reflects the inclusive and rebellious spirit of the festival. Imagine a cultural rising with the energy of a festival, the heart of a community, and the ambition of a social movement. Festival-goers aren’t just spectators, they are the actors and heartbeat of the Rising movement. Without them, it simply wouldn’t exist. The movement isn’t about elevating some at the expense of others; it’s about rising together, breaking down hierarchies, celebrating the diversity and equity of the voices.
RUMIX DISPLAY
Creation of a modular typography with 4 styles refering to 3 principals: modular, unicase and variable.
INTERACTIVE JOURNEY
This is more than just an event, the experience becomes an interactive journey, using reflective materials to engage attendees and capture the festival’s spirit through human links. Every snapshot becomes a statement: “You have importance, everyone has their moment of glory.”
SPREAD RISING – TRANSMISSION
It starts at strategic points and then spreads until it reaches everyone throughout the entire festival site.
Treasure hunt for the different art spots around the site: scan the QR code to find the other art performance points or Rising points.
